Good eating places at local pubs with carvery and family gardens. Lymington a small town, but has all the requirements, supermarkets etc. Large market on Saturday's. Near to New Forest, ideal for those who like walking, also near to the coast, and Bournemouth for good swimming and for those ardent shoppers. Sandbanks, Poole and Swanage are within and easy reach by car. Southampton, Beaulieu Motor Museum and Bucklers Hard a picturesque village on the river Beaulieu in the opposite direction are also within easy reach by car. Why not use your bus passes from Lymington Bus Station to visit some of these destinations. Visit HMS Victory, or the Mary Rose amongst others. Visit the picturesque town of Arundel and castle, home to Duke of Norfolk. Chichester is within 15 mile drive from site and Hayling Island just around the corner so to speak. There is plenty around this area for all the family from good beaches to historic sites and good walks a plenty. If it is a wet day why not take the children to Butlins at Bognor. There are numerous other attractions around the area, leaflets of some of these will be available on site.
